There are seventeen fully orchestrated tracks from the score on the Dracula musical concept album. Seventy minutes of music from the show. These tracks reflect the over all “feel” of the work but are not the only "highlight" numbers in this musical. There are 30 numbers in the complete work. The 17 selected tracks included on the initial concept album were chosen to convey the main plot of the musical.

Dracula, the musical by Orton, Evans & Lynn.
The already acclaimed British musical version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula has reached another mile-stone in its development.
Sang de Vie Productions Ltd, the producers of the Dracula musical concept album, have recently produced a short film of one of the numbers from the musical. The film is directed by an award winning director. .
The filming took place in November, 2007, and features the West End and Broadway performer Michael McCarthy as Dracula and Danielle York as Mina.
The film of the song, “Within My World”, is to be broadcast on national television in the UK and will be available to watch on internet from December.
 

It seems clear that this musical vampire tale is one that will not be so easily dismissed by detractors and has already proven a hit with the public as a genuine Dracula musical concept album, with sales all over the world.

The film of the stirring number, “Within My World”, was released in December, 2007.

Cast: Michael McCarthy as Dracula and Danielle York as Mina.

Selected tracks from the album, that are played at Dress Circle in the West End, have received an overwhelmingly enthusiastic reception from members of the general public.

* Dracula album track is played on national radio *

"Those Dreams of Long Ago" (with vocals by Stephanie Benavente) received its first national radio broadcast. This was on the Elaine Paige show (BBC Radio 2). Many thanks to Elaine Paige for playing the track from the Dracula concept album.

The Launch at Dress Circle

September (2006) saw the launch of the latest Gothic Musical album, DRACULA, at Dress Circle. With music by Christopher J Orton, Book and Lyrics by Gareth Evans and orchestrations by Ian Lynn, the CD is a concept recording which will eventually result in a concert performance followed by a theatrical production. The recording has a superb cast headed by Michael McCarthy as Dracula and Stephanie Benavente as Mina Murray / Harker. Also included is the ever talented John Barr as R.M. Renfield and Alison Guill as Lucy.

The official UK launch of the concept album was on 25th September, 2006, at Dress Circle

We are amazed by the publics' enthusiasm for the musical and we are also very grateful to the fans that have recently contacted us via our MySpace profile page.

The creative team and cast thank everyone who has bought the album and appreciates this new British work. We hope to repay your support by recording the complete work in the near future.
